Steelmen and Matrix get a big cash boost
Having already donated £126,000 in the opening round of their annual Community Fund programme, the Mick George Group has followed up with more goodwill, taking total grant support beyond £200,000 for 2020.
This time around, eight separate beneficiaries throughout the Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Northamptonshire and Norfolk regions, will each share part of the most recent £94,667 financial gift.

Hide AdIncluded in those for Northamptonshire were the Steelmen who will receive £20,010 to go towards pitch improvements at their Steel Park home.
Meanwhile, Irthlingborough-based gymnastics club Matrix have been awarded the sum of £11,755 which will be used to go towards training equipment and staging coaching courses.
Since the initiation of their scheme, more the 140 separate beneficiaries have received more than £4m from the Mick George Group.
The company’s marketing director Stuart Costello said: “This announcement is one that the business always welcomes,and particularly this time around given current circumstances.’’
