However, Alfons Fosa-Mensah grabbed the winner for Marine with a couple of minutes to go.

Hide AdThe defeat has left Corby just above the relegation zone on goal difference with six games to go, the next of which is the return clash with Marine at Steel Park on Saturday.
And Mills believes last night’s loss has only made this weekend’s game even bigger than it already was.
“It was very disappointing because the lads put a lot of effort in,” the Corby boss said.
“The first-half performance was pretty good but we didn’t defend well enough in the second half.

Hide Ad“The midfield and attacking players did their bit and we have gone away from home and scored two goals.
“But we didn’t defend our box well enough and our clearances were poor and it cost us.
“It has just made Saturday even bigger than it already was.
“Things were never going to be decided on these two games but this weekend is now a huge football match for us.
“If we win, then it evens things back up with them but if we lose then it will be a big blow.”
