Take on the route of the Women's Tour route through Northamptonshire yourself at special event
Stage five of the Aviva Women’s Tour is set to come to the county on Sunday, June 19, with around 70,000 people expected to watch the race between Northampton and Kettering.
But a month later on Sunday, July 17, amateur riders of all abilities will be able to try out some of the route for themselves.

Hide AdThe Tour Ride Northamptonshire is set to start at Delapre Abbey and offer riders a choice of a 40 or 80-mile route around the county. Along the way there will be mechanical support, feed stations and the chance to ride under the same Aviva Women’s Tour finish gantry as the Northamptonshire stage winner.
The 80-mile route will swoop through Daventry, Naseby and Kelmarsh before looping back via Brixworth and Spratton on roads used by previous editions of the tour.
The 40-mile route heads as far as Daventry, before heading back to the finish at Delapre Abbey.
In addition a 10-mile fun ride is set for the same day with a refreshment stop and Sports Taster Zone in Upton Park at the halfway point.

Entry to the Tour Ride Northamptonshire costs £28 for the 40 or 80-mile routes, while families can sign-up for the 10-mile Family Ride for £5 per person.
