Search to find Wellingborough's new carnival queens and princesses
Wellingborough Carnival Association is once again looking for youngsters to be part of the carnival court for this year’s event on Saturday, July 2.
The selection night is taking place later this month with four roles up for grabs.

Hide AdThey are looking for a carnival queen and deputy aged 14 years and upwards as well as two princesses aged between nine and 13-years-old.
All applicants must live in the borough of Wellingborough or have an association with the town, such as their school or through the employment of their parents, to be eligible to apply to be part of the carnival court.
The selection event is being held at Wellingborough Museum in Castle Way at 7.30pm on Friday, February 26.
Family, friends and supporters are welcome to attend the event, which will be followed by a disco for all applicants and supporters.

Hide AdThe age of the carnival court is a guide and the independent selection panel reserves the right to select the court that they think will best represent Wellingborough.
Their decision will be final.
The carnival parade on July 2 will start at 1pm from Broad Green before finishing at Croyland Park at 2.30pm.
It is the first of two days of fun with Wellingborough’s Party In The Park taking place the following day on Sunday, July 3, from midday until 6pm at Croyland Park.
There will be live music including local performers and tribute bands as well as Steven’s fun fair, craft stalls, food stands and a licensed bar.
