"My parents couldn't sit idly - with the help of a customer who is also a doctor they wanted to do something for those on the front line at the moment as a form of appreciation and a way to say thank you for their hard work and efforts.
"We decided to do what we do best and cook them a meal. We thought it would be a nice change to the regular sandwich or simple packed lunch."
Pooja Caterers took along Dal Makhani, a lentil dish with kidney beans, tomato and spices, as well as rice and either a plain or garlic and coriander naan.

While Pooja Caterers has closed for business during the current climate, Anjalee said they are adjusting to their new free time and looking to make further meal donations to other key workers.
