Hide AdKaren Warman told the Northants Telegraph that her mum was pushed into a wall, leaving her helpless as she watched her three friends crushed under the wheels of a car.
She said: "The four of them were walking along the pavement when the car came onto the path. Mum was pushed into a wall. She saw her friends under the wheels of the car. A man from nearby tried to help.
"The car reversed back over them, reversed into a wall and his exhaust and his number plate fell off. He stopped the car to pick up the number plate and drove off.
"I don't want to think about what could have happened. The person who did this is absolute scum."

Mrs Warman said: "Everytime my mum closes her eyes she can see the car and her friends under it. She feels guilty because she wan't physically injured.
"She's been referred for help. Two of her friends are still in hospital. One with a broken ankle and the other with a dislocated shoulder and a broken collar bone.
"They are on the same ward so at least they can see each other. Her other friend has a head injury and bruised legs and is now home."
