As hairdressers and barbers shops come out of lockdown, a well-known Kettering barber has got back to business this morning welcoming clients back to his Hawthorn Road salon.
When Vince Geranio, owner of Vince's Barbers, arrived at work at 4.45am several eager punters were already waiting outside his shop - the first lucky customer got into the chair at 4.50am.

Vince said: "It's good to be back. I'd like to thank all my loyal customers for supporting me.
"Lockdown has been interesting. In the first week, I fell off my bike, dislocated my elbow and had my arm in plaster.
"Now every fence panel round my house has been painted and my garden looks like Wembley Stadium. And me and the wife are still married."

Waiting patiently had been regular customer Neil Tilley, 53, who usually has a trim every Saturday at the barber's shop.
He said: "I've been desperate for a haircut. It's been terrible. I come every week - I'm a season ticket holder.
"I've been dreaming of having my haircut more than the pubs opening."
