Early morning wake-up call as car crashes into Corby village home

Emergency service crews have been called out to a Corby village after a car smashed into a house just before 4.30am today (Saturday).
Members of Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue helped colleagues from Northamptonshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service at the scene in Middleton, near Corby,

Hide AdA crew from Corby Fire Station made the vehicle safe after it had crashed into the home - no one was trapped in the car and advice was given to the owner of the property.
A tweet from Northants Fire said: "04:03hrs Crew from Corby mobilised to report of RTC, car into house. No persons trapped. FS made vehicle safe. Advice given to occupier of building. Ambulance personnel & @NorthantsPolice also in attendance. #Middleton."
