Corby stabbing: Victim in ‘very grave’ condition as accused appears in court

A man had appeared in court accused of stabbing Corby man Ian Little earlier this week.
Roddi Stewart, 33, from Greig Walk, on the Danesholme estate in Corby, appeared before magistrates in Northampton this morning (Friday, March 6).

Hide AdStewart is accused of stabbing Mr Little at a house in Landseer Court on Tuesday (March 3) night after an argument over a smashed TV.
He remains in hospital and the court heard this morning heard how he is in a ‘very grave’ condition and it is thought that he may not survive.
Wearing a grey tracksuit, Stewart spoke only to confirm his name and address and kept his head bowed throughout the hearing.
He is accused of GBH with intent and with possession of a knife.
No application was made for bail and the defendant was remanded in custody ahead of his next appearance at Northampton Crown Court in April.
