They had been trapped for two hours

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue saved a baby and three adults from a lift in Wellingborough earlier today.

They were stuck in the lift in a block of flats on Park Road for around two hours.

The fire service rescued them with the lift key around 2.15pm.

The lift had been stuck between the ground and first floors.

A spokesman for Northants Fire said everyone involved was well and no one had needed any medical assistance.
