Looking for a shared ownership property in East Northants? This event could be for you
The event, organised by East Northamptonshire Council (ENC), will showcase what properties are available in the district with partner Housing Associations - The Longhurst Group, Orbit Homes and Cross Keys.
There are new developments in Higham Ferrers, Irthlingborough, Oundle, Raunds, Rushden and Thrapston which have two, three and four-bedroom houses available to buy on a shared ownership basis.

The event is taking place from 11am to 2pm on Saturday, June 11, at Thrapston Plaza in Cosy Nook, Thrapston.
Anyone interested can go along to find out more about who can apply to buy on a shared ownership basis and what the mortgage and monthly payments could be.
ENC leader Cllr Steven North said: “We are excited to say yes to affordable home ownership in East Northamptonshire.

“Shared ownership is a fantastic opportunity.
“It allows you to buy a share in a property and pay a subsidised rent on the share you do not own.
“It might provide the opportunity to own your own home sooner than you think possible.”
Housing association staff and mortgage advisors will be on hand to answer questions and guide people through the process.

Hide AdSales manager at Cross Keys Homes (CKH), John Purcell, said: “Shared ownership is becoming bigger and bigger as people realise it genuinely is an easy, flexible way to buy.
“You don’t need a high income or a really big deposit as the size of share is tailored to what you can realistically afford.
“In the future you can simply sell your stake for its market value at the time, or buy more shares until it’s all yours.
“It’s a bridge, if you like, between renting and actually owning your own home, a simple idea that really works.”
Sophie bought her two-bedroom home from CKH last year.

“Shared ownership has made a huge change in my life: having rented, it is fantastic to now own my own home.
