Corby Council’s lead member for environment, Cllr Mark Pengelly, said: “A big thank you to our street scene and environmental teams who have carried out thorough investigations to find and fine the few residents who insist on fly tipping.

"Another big thank you to the residents who notify us of the problem as well so that we are able to take action.

“Fly-tipping is an offence and a blight on our community and we are committed to ensuring the people who do it end up receiving the consequences.

“Much of the rubbish our officers find can be recycled, which would increase the room residents have in their general waste bin. Residents can have multiple recycling bins as long as they are being used correctly and not contaminated with the incorrect waste.”
