Three Corby women charged after surge of car break-ins

Many people have reported cars being targeted

A trio of women have been charged over a number of car break-ins during in Corby.

Local people had reported a spate of thefts from their cars across the town and police had been looking for a number of women in connection with the offences.

They have charged the following people:

- Jardine Dewar, 29, has been charged with an an incident in Osbourne Close on the Oakley Vale estate on October 24 where a woman stole property from a Toyota Rav4 and a separate incident in in Briery Close, Great Oakley on July 22 where a woman stole property from a BMW X3.

- Stephanie Goudie, 34, of Corby has been charged with an incident in Chepstow Road March 21 where a woman stole property from a black Mercedes ML 320 and a silver Toyota Auris. She is also accused of an incident in Meadow View, of Cottingham Road, Corby, on February 16, where a woman stole property from a Ford Transit.

- Georgia Ann Kelly, 26, of Corby, was charged with an incident in Charter Court, Corby, on June 9 where a woman stole a bank card from a white Peugeot 308 and then used it to make fraudulent transactions.

All will appear before magistrates at a later date.
