Teenager released on bail as Burton Latimer stabbing investigation continues

The teenager arrested in connection with a stabbing in Burton Latimer has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent after a man in his 30s was stabbed once in the stomach in Glebe Road, Burton Latimer, on Sunday evening (September 27).

Hide AdPolice were called to the incident at 7.20pm after reports of an altercation outside an address in Station Road.
The incident continued into Glebe Road where the man was stabbed.
Armed police attended the scene and surrounding roads were closed.
One resident told the Northants Telegraph that a group had been "spoiling for a fight".The victim was treated at the scene by a member of the public before he was taken to hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.
The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
