Special constables make arrests for outstanding warrants
As part of an on-going operation to reduce the number of outstanding warrants across the country, a total of 24 volunteer special constables visited 37 addresses on Sunday, December 1.
The constables executed three warrants and arrested three individuals wanted on fail to attend warrants.

Hide AdOne arrest was for a man who failed to appear at court in 2016.
Asher Reeve, of Birch Road, Rushden, was wanted after he failed to attend Kettering Magistrates' Court in February 2016 for theft of a mobile phone.
The 24-year-old pleaded guilty at a hearing in Northampton Magistrates' Court yesterday (Monday).
He was given a community order to attend a rehabilitation course and complete 40 hours unpaid work. Reeve also has to pay a £60 surcharge to fund victim services as well as £85 for costs.

Hide AdJewrzy Ostowicki, 62, of Highbrook in Corby, was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
He was wanted after he failed to appear in Northampton Magistrates Court in May earlier this year.
He pleaded guilty to fly-tipping on public land at a hearing yesterday (Monday) and was fined £600, ordered to pay £591.70 surcharge to fund victim services and £60 costs.
The third arrest was Terrence Williams, 42, of Farthingstone Road, Litchborough, who failed to appear in Northampton Magistrates' Court on October 31 for two driving offences.

Hide AdAt a hearing yesterday, he pleaded guilty to drink driving and not having insurance.
Williams was given a community order to attend a rehabilitation course and complete 100 hours of unpaid work.
He was also disqualified from driving for 25 months and ordered to pay £85 surcharge for victim services and £85 costs.
Special constables are part-time, voluntary police officers with all the same powers as full-time regular police officers.
