Hide AdIt had drawn the attention of the Central Tasking Team, a team of plain clothes police officers, after the person behind the wheel was spotted driving dangerously and putting other road users at risk.
It made off from officers and failed to stop on the Queensway estate, but was found just before 4pm in woods off Sinclair Drive on the Park Farm Industrial Estate.
The Central Tasking Team said: "Its next stop will be the crusher.
"It's uninsured, has no current keeper, and surprisingly, the driver hasn't waited here for us with it!"
