Hide AdBetween October and November last year Major, of Kettering, took advantage of the system to steal when punters used a debit card to place bets.
The teenager had to tell the till of the debit card transaction so it knew how much had been traded each day, and she would then transfer it from the till electronically with a switch code.
Instead, after telling the till of the amount she did not make the correct switch code electronic transfer - physically taking cash from the till and hiding it under betting slips.
Her crime went unnoticed until the Coral head office spotted the anomaly and launched an investigation. In total she stole £5,190.

Appearing at the same court this month to be sentenced, chairman of the bench Dr Romanos Daskalou decided her crime was so serious it crossed the custody threshold.
But Major was spared from an immediate spell in prison and given a second chance, with her 12-week jail term suspended for a year.
She must pay compensation of £1,000 and take part in rehabilitation activities.
