David Brickwood trial: Jury ordered to enter NOT GUILTY verdict in Northampton murder trial

A man charged with the murder of Northampton's David Brickwood has been found not guilty on the orders of a judge.
Cameron St Rose, of Bristol Street, Forest Gate, was this morning (April 28) told he was free to go.

Hide AdThe 26-year-old London man has been on trial since April 20 for the alleged murder of David Brickwood, who was stabbed to death at his Lindsay Avenue home on September 26, 2015.
But at Birmingham Crown Court today, on what was meant to be the first day of the defence's case, a jury was told to find him 'not guilty' on the grounds there is not enough evidence.The trial has now officially ended.
A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police, said: “We are disappointed that the decision has been made not to progress to the conclusion of the trial but must respect the direction of His Honour Mr Justice Pepperall.
“As ever, our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Brickwood. We share their frustration that no one has yet been brought to justice following his death.”
