Corby boy accused of McDonald's stabbing

A boy from Corby will appear at court today (Tuesday) charged over a stabbing outside a McDonald's.
The 17-year-old, who can't be named for legal reasons, has been charged with wounding with intent and violent disorder after the incident near the fast food outlet at the Drapery in Northampton at about 4.30pm on October 14.

Hide AdHe is due to appear before magistrates in Wellingborough today.
Armed police were at the scene within four minutes of the reported knife attack, which left a 17-year-old boy with injuries described by police as not life-threatening or life-changing.
Five boys were arrested and four have since been charged.
They are the Corby boy and three other boys - two aged 17 and one aged 16 - who are all from Northampton. They cannot be named for legal reasons.
