A paedophile who swapped naked pictures with teens, a stalker who left his ex-wife terrified and a woman who set fire to her own flat.
Here are some of the convicted criminals who appeared before judges and magistrates in Northamptonshire in February.
This is not an exhaustive list but a compilation of some of the most serious cases heard in our courts.
1. NIKKI LEE MARTIN
The 31-year-old, of Herford Close in Corby, fractured her ex-girlfriend's arm with a metal pole just weeks after a judge gave her a chance to prove herself when she admitted a separate robbery. She was jailed for 30 months.
2. DANIEL HASLAM
The dangerous Corby paedophile, of Highbrook, was jailed for six years for 12 child sex offences. He showed no remorse and forced his young victim to testify in a trial.
3. GLENN RIBCHESTER
The booze-fuelled brute left his victim with double vision and a fractured collarbone after punching him about 12 times in Kettering town centre. The 44-year-old was jailed for a total of 26 months.
4. PAUL BLADES
Blades, of Howe Crescent in Corby, faked working as a forklift driver for six months. He fraudulently claimed £18,000 in wages after working for just two days. The gambling addict was sentenced to unpaid work.
