107 bottles of counterfeit perfume seized by police in Northampton town centre
A man and a woman were spotted on CCTV in the St Peter’s Way car park in Northampton Town centre at 1pm on Saturday (October 9) selling bottles of perfume believed to be counterfeit.
Police officers approached them and they claimed that the perfumes had been purchased from a market in Manchester and they had come to Northampton to sell them at £3 - £5 a bottle.
They admitted that the products were fake.

Hide AdA total of 107 bottles of perfume were seized from the unlicensed street traders, who confirmed that they were brother and sister. They were promptly reported to Trading Standards.
The Northampton Neighbourhood Police Team, on Twitter, said: “Please be careful what you buy! There is a reason they are so cheap, they are fake!”
