Here, we look at 14 of the famous people who were born, lived or worked in the town and have had successful careers in many different arenas.

1. Bill Drummond
The KLF legend, best known for burning a million quid, grew up in Corby and went to Kingswood. His dad was Scottish minister Rev Drummond.
2. Emma Kennedy
Emma was born Elizabeth Emma Williams in Corby in 1967. She later moved to Stevenage and became an actress, author, winner of celebrity masterchef and - most recently - a political activist for the Liberal Democrats.
3. Mad Dog McPhie
Stewart Md Dog McPhie made a name for himself on the independent wrestling circuit. He went to Queen Elizabeth School and now works as a bouncer in Kettering.
4. John Anderson
Most famous for his refereeing on the smash-hit ITV show Gladiators, John Anderson from Middleton is also a successful athletics coach in Corby - coaching William Sharman to hurdling success.
