Campaigners unhappy over plans for 80 homes in Islip
Outline planning permission is being sought for a development of up to 80 houses in the field opposite Toll Bar Road in Islip.
The plans, submitted by Catesby Estates Limited, also include provision for public open space and a play area.

Leaflets have been delivered throughout the village which say that if the plan is given the go-ahead, it sets a precedent for other greenfield land to be built on.
It also voices fears over the effect such developments will have on school and GP surgery places.
The deadline for people to make comments on the application is December 31, with residents being urged to contact East Northants Council, which will decide on the application, before then.

Residents can email or write to the council, quoting planning reference number 16/02345/OUT, as well as MP Tom Pursglove.
Volunteers from the Save Islip group will also be knocking on doors for signatures to a petition.
