Business as usual for restaurant despite closure of Wellingborough theatre where it's based
Staff at Franks Hamburger House, which opened at The Castle in Wellingborough last winter, have said the restaurant is still open and serving food despite the theatre’s closure last month.
And while it is not yet known if and when the theatre will re-open, this Summer marks an exciting time for the diner as Franks is celebrating the arrival of a new seasonal menu, which includes handmade burgers using meat from its own farm.

Hide AdSophie Drage, general manager of Tom Hewer Enterprises which owns the venue, is looking forward to celebrating the restaurant’s continuing success.
She said: “The restaurant has been a massive hit in Wellingborough since it opened last year and we’re keen to remind our customers that we are still very much open and keeping up the high standards that they have quite rightly got used to.
“As well as having local beers from the likes of Hart Family Brewers and Phipps NBC, our new menu features an Inferno burger, for those who like their jalapenos, and my favourite is the Abington Pork Wrap, which is a take on Abington Park so there’s something to suit all palates.
“And with plans for an exciting new venture in the pipeline, it’s a great time to get into the summer spirit and come and dine with us.”
