GCSEs: Montsaye Academy, Rothwell
Pupils at Rothwell's Montsaye Academy returned to school today to receive their GCSE results.
Most have not been to the Greening Road school since the Covid-19 lockdown in March, with exams cancelled and teachers deciding grades based on how they predicted pupils would perform.

Hide AdAnd after a turbulent year they have now received the grades they deserved.
Principal Meena Gabbi said: "There have certainly been some challenges this year, but today is about celebrating our children and their fantastic achievements.
"A big thank you to all of our staff who have worked relentlessly hard this year to ensure that students were supported at every stage of their journey."
