The cafe, which will open seven days a week, will also serve vegetarian options and light lunch dishes such as paninis and sandwiches as well as milkshakes.
Former Poppies 'keeper Paul, who now plays for Hereford, said: "It's everything a traditional cafe would have and I think it's something that Burton Latimer needs.
"But it works two ways, because we need Burton Latimer.
"We firmly believe they are the best breakfasts in Northamptonshire."

And their decision to deliver has paid off - with this their second Breakfast Box store having opened in Wellingborough last year.
The 26-year-old said: "Deliveries went through the roof and we were doing a lot of business in Wellingborough so thought we'd look there.
"Then we opened there and that's been unbelievable and we were looking for the next place.

The Burton Latimer breakfast cafe will be on Just Eat and Uber Eats and will deliver anywhere within 15 minutes, including Kettering.
The store will create between eight and 10 jobs, taking the total number of jobs they've created to more than 20.
Paul added: "These are really uncertain times so it's pleasing we've been able to provide so many jobs for local people."
