Work to rebuild the German supermarket's Carina Road store has been ongoing this year after Kettering Council approved plans to demolish their dated supermarket and the adjacent unit.

Signs outside the building site currently say it will open in summer 2020 and previous boards said it would remain closed until August.
But the Northants Telegraph can reveal it will now open in the autumn, although Aldi has not said exactly when.
An Aldi spokesman said: “Construction for our new Kettering store is progressing as we move towards opening in autumn this year.
"This will create up to eight new jobs for the community.

"We will keep the community updated on developments.”
In 2015 Aldi opened another store just off the town's Northfield Avenue.
