Bands from Northampton’s twinned towns of Marburg in Germany and Poitiers in France will be performing at venues across the town when Twinfest returns next week.
In keeping with tradition, visiting acts will be joined by some of Northamptonshire’s finest with NN Café, The Charles Bradlaugh, The Lamplighter and The Black Prince all hosting shows across four days.
Twinfest kicks off at NN Café in Guildhall on Thursday, May 26, with music by Al Capone and Daniel, Kai und Anna from Marburg with Northampton’s The Jackal Nine headlining.
The following day, from 8pm, Luna Rosa Daniel, Kai und Anna, Al Capone will join Poitiers’ Overstragne Mood and Northampton’s An Army Of Lights.
On Saturday, The Lamplighter will be hosting acts from 3.30pm and The Black Prince from 6.30pm.
Henry Dymott kicks off proceedings at the Overstone Road venue and will be followed by Amy Claire Luke Crossley, Amii Dawes, Will Rogers, John Marais, Overstrange Mood, Daniel, Kai und Anna, The Vincent Vega Band, Equinoxx and Al Capone with Jagged Little Thrills headlining.
At The Black Prince in Abington Squire, The Keepers begin proceedings followed by Al Capone, Y-fi, Over the influence, Overstrange Mood and Daniel, Kai und Anna with The Barratts headlining.
The final day of Twinfest 2016 is on Sunday, May 29 at The Black Prince.
Music is from 2pm with Green Leaves Down opening proceedings.
They will be followed by The Straw Horses, Drinsipa Daniel, Kai und Anna, Overstrange Mood, The Wax Lyrical Sound, Al Capone, Long Breech and 72% Morrissey with Fox Chapel Headlining.
Twinfest wristbands are available which will provide admission to all venues for £5.
Alternatively, venues will be charging on the door for those without wristbands.
