Johnny's Happy Place offering free Christmas meals to Kettering community
There will be a Christmas lunch on Saturday and Sunday (December 21 and 22) in the Johnny's Happy Place cafe in Keystone, 97 Rockingham Road, Kettering.
The cafe will be open between 10am and 2pm with food served between 11am and 1.30pm. There will be turkey, stuffing, veg, all the trimmings and a Christmas pudding.

Hide AdThey will be putting out extra tables for those coming along.
The charity said: "Whether you fancy some company, don't have much money or just fancy something different, please feel free to come along to any one of these Christmas meals.
"No judgement, no hassle. A lovely atmosphere awaits you at all of the meals."
The normal weekend activities, including an art workshop and counselling drop-ins, will be going ahead as usual.

Hide AdThe cafe will be open again on Christmas Day for a breakfast served between 7.30am and 9.30am.
There will be a free Christmas Day lunch at the Open Doors Church in Montagu Street, Kettering, served between 11am and 2pm.
Johnny's Happy Place added: "Everyone and anyone is welcome to all, families, people on their own, people who just fancy something different and some company."
The community cafe is run as a place for anyone and Johnny's Happy Place likes to be thought of as "a friendly Costa or a cheap, artistic Starbucks".

Hide AdOn their website, Johnny's Happy Place said: "JHP is open to everyone: old, young, rich, poor, good mental health, poor mental health."
The cafe opens on weekends between 10am and 2pm. All tea and coffee is free and food is £1 per meal or item.
There is free drop in counselling available between 11am and 2pm on Saturdays and free art workshops between 12pm and 2pm on Saturdays.
The weekend cafe and the Christmas meals are open to anyone, so pass the message on for anyone who might like a community Christmas meal over the festive season.
