Blood Wedding

A Spanish tragedy unfolds in a performance that combines circus and theatre.

RoguePlay’s production of Blood Wedding is being performed at The Castle in Wellingborough on Tuesday, November 18, at 7.30pm.

Federico Garcia Lorca’s play is a tale of passion and vengeance and this adaptation features a Spanish soundtrack and acrobatics.

The story is about the uneasy marriage of two villagers against a backdrop of violence, family feuding and betrayal.

The company has its own style of performance which combines circus skills with theatre as the actors swing, balance, jump and hang on stage.

RoguePlay Theatre was founded in 2009 and focuses on finding new and unconventional ways of connecting with the audience.

They say their work is inspired by human behaviour and the moral understanding and reasons for our actions and choices.

Tickets are priced at £12 (£10) and can be purchased by calling the box office on 01933 270 007 or going online at
