Variety of dance styles at Castle Theatre

Fans of dance will have plenty to choose from with two separate shows which are coming to The Castle theatre in Wellingborough during the coming week.

Dexterity will present its annual dance showcase on Wednesday, July 24, and Thursday, July 25.

In the show students from ages four to adults will be performing a vibrant display of dance and physical theatre. The types of dance and music included will be varied, including styles such as commercial jazz, contemporary dance fusion, drama, musical theatre, ballet and rhythmic dance. The choreography has all been devised by Dexterity professionals. Tickets for this diverse dance show cost £8 or £10 and the performances will start at 7pm.

This Saturday at The Castle, there will also be a show by The Deborah MacFarlane School of Dance which is celebrating 10 years in the community. Audiences are invited to “join them on their trip through the last decade as they celebrate their successes as a dance family”.
