Students perform Christmas classic Scrooge

Audiences will be invited to get into the festive spirit this weekend when drama students present the classic Christmas story of Scrooge.

Starlight Dance & Musical Theatre School will be staging Scrooge, following the festive tale of the bitter, mean Ebenezer Scrooge and his distaste for the folly of celebrating Christmas.

As Dickens’ famous story goes, the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future soon appear to help transform Scrooge’s miserly attitude.

Scrooge will be performed at The Masque Theatre, at The Latimer Arts College, in Castle Way, Barton Seagrave.

The show will take place at 4.30pm on Saturday.

The 7.30pm performance has already sold out.

Tickets cost £5 or £4 for concessions.
