New Zealand-born prop comic Sam Wills will be appearing as The Boy With Tape On His Face at The Lighthouse theatre in Kettering tomorrow.

The show, entitled More Tape, is described as containing ‘stand-up with no talking, mime with noise, and punch lines without words’; a performance which ‘has to be seen to be believed’.

A spokesman for the show said: “What does he do? The less you know, the more you will enjoy. But, if you must know, he will have a gunfight, battle Darth Vader and bring John Lennon back to life. All this and more...”

Last year ‘The Boy’ sold out every night of his 750-seat month-long run at the Edinburgh Festival, and he went on to win the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award. He has also appeared at The Royal Variety Performance and on BBC 2’s Comedy Prom with Tim Minchin.

Sam Wills is known to perform regularly on the New Zealand comedy circuit and has been featured in the New Zealand International Comedy Festival.

He recently took part in the Mark Watson 25-hour show for Comic Relief.

Tickets cost £15 or £12 for concessions. The show will start at 8pm. To book tickets, log on to
