“Lovely jubbly” will hopefully be the reaction from audiences when TV’s Only Fools And Horses star John Challis makes an appearance at the Masque Theatre in Barton Seagrave tomorrow.

The evening will be a chance for fans to spend time with one of the nation’s beloved comedy actors, best known for playing Boycie in Only Fools opposite David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst.

In An Evening With John Challis, the actor will reveal secrets from the set and entertain fans with anecdotes from his career.

Having worked with some of the biggest names in showbusiness, he’ll be spilling the beans about Only Fools And Horses and fellow performers and he will also recall tales from his time in Dr Who, Coronation Street and other TV classics.

The show will also celebrate the launch of the second volume of Challis’ autobiography, Being Boycie, in which he explores both his career and private life. Mr Challis will be on hand to sign copies during the interval and after his performance.

Tickets cost £15 or £13. The show will start at 7.30pm. The Masque Theatre is at The Latimer Arts College in Castle Way. See www.masquekettering.co.uk for booking details of the event.
