Anyone who knows anything about the story of The Beatles knows that there are quite a few people who were credited with being “the fifth Beatle”.
Their manager Brian Epstein, their pre-fame drummer Pete Best and Hamburg days bassist Stu Sutcliffe, oh and that bloke who replaced Ringo on a tour when he had tonsilitis.
In fact so many people are credited with this that comedy songwriter Mitch Benn has written a show about it in which he positions himself in this line-up as the 37th Beatle.
He is bringing his show to Kettering Arts Centre on Saturday, November 15. You can buy tickets £14 (£12 concesssions) at Waterstone’s, High Street, Kettering.
