Shakespeare fans who are short on time can see all 37 plays in 97 minutes in a show at Kettering Arts Centre later this month.
On second thoughts the show by the Reduced Shakespeare Company is probably best suited to comedy fans.
The troupe are well known for tackling big and long-winded tales and whittling them into short sharp comedies.
The three performers are bringing The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) (Revised) to town on Wednesday, June 18.
The show was London’s longest running comedy when it ran at the West End’s Criterion Theatre where it kept audiences laughing for around nine years.
It is a fast-paced romp through the histories, comededies and tragedies that aims to see the funny side of the bard’s work.
The company has also gone on to create other shows shortening lengthy tales into much briefer funier versions.
These are The History of America (Abridged) and The Complete Word of God (Abridged).
Tickets are available from Waterstones Kettering at £15 (£13 concessions) or via a link from the centre’s website at www.ketteringartscentre.com
