There is a chance to see a free performance of a children’s dance theatre show at the Northampton Museum and Art Gallery.
It is the latest work by award-winning choreographer Katie Green.
The venue is a particularly appropriate one for the piece which is called The Imagination Museum.
In the show we meet three eccentric tour guides called Mildred, Henry and Harriet.
Everything is not quite as it seems in the museum as the guides bring to life a collection of museum artefects through words and movement.
Before the show choreographer Katie Green will also be working with children from Parklands Primary school to create dance performances.
They will be using artefacts from the museum’s show collection as a starting point and Katie will guide the children through creating their own dances.
The youngsters will also get the chance to work with professional dancers from the show.
