A show with a difference that had sell-out performances the Edinburgh Festival Fringe last year is playing at two venues in the county.
Light is a wordless sci-fi thriller performed in the dark which has been developed by the Theatre Ad Infinitum company and is directed and written by George Mann.
The show is on a UK tour which started at the Barbican in London as part of the London International Mime Festival.
It is inspired by the Edward Snowden revelations and looks at a future where the thoughts of the citizens are monitored by implants.
A young Government agent has the job of hunting down “terrorists” who want to get the implants disconnected and in the course of his inquiries he meets someone from his own past. The show is performed to a pulsating soundtrack by Chris Bartholemew and is lit only by LED strips and torches.
The show is on at Royal & Derngate, Northampton, on February 2, visit www.royalandderngate.co.uk or call 01604 624811 for tickets.
It is at The Core @Corby Cube on February 3. Visit www.thecorbycore.com or call 01536 470470 for tickets.
