Charismatic compere Rudi Lickwood will return to the Royal & Derngate stage on Sunday to host a Father’s Day Stand-Up Comedy Special.
Comedy will come from entertainers including Slim, a stand-up circuit stalwart and former Brixton bus driver who has made many TV appearances on shows such as Channel 5’s Singled Out and Channel 4’s Nights Out At The Empire.
Meanwhile comedy queen Glenda Jaxson will provide a mother’s perspective on life, with observations on raising her boys and being “down with the youths dem”.
Adam Ethan Crow’s laid-back act attempts to knot together surreal musings and tall tales backed on a life littered with extreme highs and disturbing lows.
Also on stage will be Christian Schulte-Loh, whose hit Edinburgh shows have included Stop Laughing, I Am German! and I Am German, I Should Not Be Here!
A spokesman said: “His taboo-busting musings on nationality are guaranteed to shock and amuse in equal measure.”
This night of comedy will be performed on Sunday at 8pm. Tickets cost £12.50 and can be booked by calling the box office on 01604 624811 or by visiting www.royalandderngate.co.uk. The show is recommended for ages 18 and above.
