Imagination and tomfoolery are the trademarks of comedian Ross Noble and he is bringing both to the Royal & Derngate in Northampton for two nights with his Tangentleman tour.

It is a return to town for the comic who came to Northampton last year to film for his TV show and spent time chatting to local people on the Market Square.

Ross has built up a reputation as one of the best of the current crop of comedians.

He has done 14 sell-out tours and produced seven DVDs of his stand-up act.

He is a regular on the top comedy panel shows including Have I Got News For You and QI. The shows are on Wednesday and Thursday, February 11 and 12.

Tickets are priced at £25, and can be booked by calling 01604 624811 or visiting This performance is recommended for ages 15 and above.

Also performing in the area next week is Northampton’s own Alan Carr, who will appear at The Castle in Welingborough on Wednesday, February 11. The show is, not surprisingly, sold out, but to go on the waiting list call 01933 270007.
