Screaming Blue Murder Comedy Club returns to Royal & Derngate tonight with three more of stand-up’s rising stars.

Compere Dan Evans is joined on the Underground stage by Andrew O’Neill, Angela Barnes and Andy White.

Andrew O’Neill is a stand-up comedian, vegan, transvestite, metalhead, amateur occultist and musician.

Andrew’s credits include a role in Steve Coogan’s Saxondale, appearances on Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle on BBC2, and lots of radio.

Winner of last year’s BBC Radio 2 New Comedy Award, Angela Barnes is a stand-up, who has appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News and had a standout run at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

A Brummie who escaped from a call centre to become a stand up comic, Andy White combines silly voices and a mad afro, his act includes impressions, funny faces, observational humour and his mixed race background.

Compere Dan Evans has appeared on BBC2’s Brain Candy, The Channel 5 Comedy Zone and Radio 2’s Stand Up Show. He recently collaborated with Milton Jones on the sitcom House of Rooms.

Screaming Blue Murder Comedy Club is at Royal & Derngate on Friday at 8.15pm. Doors open 7.45pm. Tickets are priced at £11.50 in advance or £12.50 on the door and are available by calling Box Office on 01604 624811 or online at www.royalandderngate.co.uk.
