A puppet production of the much-loved children’s story We’re Going On A Bear Hunt will be brought to The Core at Corby Cube next week.

Little Angel Theatre will be staging the show which tells the story of a family who go on an expedition of a lifetime.

They run down a grassy bank, wade through a cold river, squelch through oozy mud, stumble into a dark forest and peer into a cave. But what will they find?

A spokesman said: “Little Angel Theatre brings Michael Rosen’s thrilling and funny adventure to life with their trademark blend of physical performance, puppetry, live music and song.

“The show is directed by Little Angel’s artistic director Peter Glanville and with music and lyrics written by renowned singer-songwriter Barb Jungr, who is herself a regular performer at The Core.

“Little Angel Theatre has been described as the ‘home of British puppetry’.”

The show is said to be ideal for children aged two and upwards to enjoy with their families. The show will run from December 4 to 8 with performances at 11am and 2pm from the Wednesday to Friday and at 11am, 2pm and 4pm on the Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets cost £11.50 and £9.50, with concessions at £9.50 and £7.50. To book, ring 01536 470470 or visit www.thecorecorby.com.
