The magic of puppetry will be used to bring to life a story about three little pigs this weekend.

The Three Billy Pigs show will be performed at The Core at Corby Cube and is said to be suitable for those aged three and over.

As the story goes, once upon a time there were three little pigs and now it is time for them to leave home. They set off to build their dream houses in the green field on the other side of the river.

But then these homes are put to the test by a misunderstood wolf who has a little bit of a problem. And who is the grumpy person who lives under the bridge?

In this show the Noisy Oyster company blend two classic fairytales, The Three Little Pigs and The Three Billy Goats Gruff, illustrating these adventures with beautifully crafted puppets, light-hearted storytelling and live music.

Noisy Oyster is made up of Sarah Rowland-Barker, who has been performing and leading workshops for more than 25 years, and Nik Palmer, who is an award-winning puppeteer, puppet maker and musician.

Performances will take place on Saturday at 11am and 2pm. Tickets cost £5.50. Visit www.thecorecorby.com.
