Pinocchio’s adventures on theatre stage

A new adaptation of The Amazing Adventures of Pinocchio will make its way to Geddington Village Hall on Monday.

Strangeface Mask Theatre Company is currently touring the UK with the show which uses a mixture of masks, puppets, live music and song.

Strangeface’s half masks are designed by Russell Dean. Russell has, along with his brothers director Ashley and composer Mark, created a style of show which includes inspiration drawn from Tim Burton and the Commedia dell’arte tradition.

Russell said: “While we know that children as young as three and four have been enthralled, we make our productions layered so that people in their teens or groups of adults enjoy them equally.” The show will take place at 7.30pm. Call 01536 746272.
