Anyone in need of a giggle is invited to enjoy an evening of comedy at The Castle in Wellingborough tomorrow.

The independently run Laughing Boy Comedy Club has put on some of the most successful comedy shows in London over the last 10 years, helping launch the careers of well-known UK stand-ups such as Alan Carr, Michael McIntyre and Jon Richardson.

The line-up for tomorrow’s event will include the comedy talents of Andy Robinson, Marlon Davis and Rob Beckett.

Andy is probably best known as comedy legend Jo Brand’s regular support act and has done more than 2,000 gigs across the country. He has also worked as a warm up artist for popular shows on TV such as Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Later With Jools Holland and Shooting Stars. He has also been a support act for Sean Lock.

Marlon Davis will be using his time on stage to explore urban Britain and some of its social issues. Marlon is a previous winner of the broadcast FHM Search for a stand-up, and finalist in three other national comedy awards.

Rob Beckett is known for his observational style of humour. He has previously appeared on TV shows such as 8 Out Of 10 Cats.

Tickets cost £12.50 or £10.50 and can be bought by calling the box office on 01933 270007 or logging on to www.thecastle.org.uk
