A drama which gave people an insight into lesbian culture during the 60s can be seen at The Playhouse in Northampton.
The Killing of Sister George can be seen from Tuesday, July 5, to Saturday, July 9.
Sister George is a beloved character in the popular radio series Applehurst. She is played by June Buckridge, who in real life is a gin-guzzling, cigar-chomping, slightly sadistic masculine woman.
She’s about to be fired but many have an agenda.
The show starts at 7.45pm. Tickets cost £8 for adults and £6.50 for concessions. To book call 01604 627791 or visit www.theplayhousetheatre.net.
