Kung Fu show is a big spectacle

The team behind the Shaolin Warriors are bringing a new kung fu show to the area called Immortal Chi.

The show is a mixture of the astonishing martial arts skills of the performers along with multi-media images, live music and spectacular costumes.

It takes place at The Castle theatre, Wellingborough, at 7.30pm on Wednesday, July 23.

Immortal Chi has been created and directed by Erick Villneuve along with the Cirque du Soleil creative team. The show is structured around the story of a tai chi master who is facing his ultimate challenge to regain his secret inner energy – his Immortal Chi.

It includes acrobatics, displays of the use of traditional weaponry, authentic Chinese musical instruments and Chinese drummers.
