Inspired lunacy, special guests, music and a giant sausage all play their part in comedian Harry Hill’s tour, which is due to arrive at the Royal & Derngate in Northampton tonight.

The big-collared comedian will return with a show that appears to have something for everyone.

There will be a section exclusively for Tongans, a chance to catch up with Harry’s nan’s latest ailments, a section with the legendary Stouffer the cat, and a debut solo stand-up spot by Gary, Harry’s son from his first marriage, who audiences may recognise from his role as Alan Sugar in Harry Hill’s TV Burp. There will be expert whistler of chart hits, Grandson Sam and an all-singing, all-dancing finale, with showband, The Harrys.

Having nurtured his brand of comedy on Radio 4, Harry Hill made the transfer to the small screen back in 1994 and finally found huge mainstream success with the BAFTA-winning TV Burp, which began in 2001.

Harry Hill’s Sausage Time show will start at 8pm. Tickets cost £37 and can be booked by calling the box office on 01604 624811 or visiting
