The distinguished and ever-glamorous stage and screen star Honor Blackman can be seen telling fascinating anecdotes from her career when she visits The Castle theatre in Wellingborough on Wednesday.

With a career on stage, television and in films that extends over 60 years, Honor is marking this achievement by launching a new show in which she simply appears...as herself.

In conversation with director Richard Digby Day, she will tell stories of her childhood, growing up during the Second World War , as well as her impressive career.

Perhaps still best remembered as crimefighter Cathy Gale in the earliest episodes of TV’s The Avengers, Honor also starred in the James Bond movie Goldfinger, playing Pussy Galore in the definitive Bond movie.

Honor’s acting career has continued throughout the decades and she is still in huge demand with theatre, voiceover and other acting work.

She will share anecdotes concerning topics ranging from family and friends to the difficulties of filming nude scenes.

The show will start at 7.30pm.
