World Superbike stars, Carl Fogarty and James Whitham, will swap the starting grid for the stage when they take their nationwide stage show to The Core at Corby Cube.
The pair, who were rivals on the track, are big pals off it and this is the fourth year they have hit the road with a tour, sharing their memories and career anecdotes with audiences across the country.
The show, entitled Foggy and Whit: Givin’ It Gas, brings together four times World Superbike champion Carl and former British champion-turned top TV pundit James as they relive their tales of the track in a race down memory lane.
A spokesman said: “From scrapping it out wheel-to-wheel during their high-octane competitive careers, the pair now engage in verbal sparring during a fun-filled night which also sees them discuss motorcycling’s current big issues.” Foggy added: “I can’t wait to get out on the road again and it will be fantastic to go to Corby for the first time.
“I know there are a lot of bike fans in the area and it will be great to see them.
“2013’s tour went down a storm and I’m sure these 2014 dates will prove just as popular. As long as the audience continues to have as much fun as me and James do, then everyone’s going to be happy.”
James added: “We had some epic tussles on the track and it’s just the same when we get on stage, so I’m looking forward to the next round of shows and a bit more banter with my old mate.”
The duo will make their pit-stop at The Core on Wednesday at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £20.50. Call 01536 470470 or visit www.thecorecorby.com
